Prof. Abd El Rahman El Tahan is a distinguished academic leader, senior ENT consultant, and internationally trained head and neck surgeon with more than three decades of extensive experience in medical education, academic leadership, healthcare administration, and advanced clinical practice.
Prof. El Tahan previously served as Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Suez University. Throughout his academic career, he has held several prominent leadership positions, including Vice Dean at both Aswan University Faculty of Medicine and Suez University Faculty of Medicine, Head of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at Suez University, and Executive Director of Suez University Hospitals.
Prof. El Tahan has played a pivotal role in advancing academic quality assurance, institutional development, curriculum development, postgraduate medical training, and healthcare service enhancement. His leadership has significantly contributed to strengthening medical education standards and promoting academic excellence within Egyptian medical schools.
