Dr. Khaled Naiem Hamdi

Dr. Khaled Naiem Hamdy is an Egyptian Professor of Anatomy and Embryology at the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University (Cairo), with extensive experience spanning medical education, radiodiagnosis, and academic leadership. He earned his M.B., B.Ch. from Ain Shams University in 1977 with honors, followed by advanced training in Anatomy & Embryology, including an M.D. jointly completed through Ain Shams University and Université Paris Diderot (Xavier-Bichat, Paris), and later an M.S. in Radiodiagnosis in 1997.

Throughout his career, Professor Hamdy has held senior academic positions in Egypt and internationally, including serving as Head of the Department of Anatomy & Embryology at Ain Shams University (2011–2013). He has taught and supervised undergraduate and postgraduate programs at multiple institutions, including the University of Zambia and the University Teaching Hospital (2001–2005), as well as King Saud University and the College of Health Sciences in Riyadh (2006–2010). From 2014 to 2017, he served as Professor of Anatomy & Embryology at the Armed Forces College of Medicine.

His areas of expertise include clinical and surgical anatomy, radiological anatomy, museum specimen preservation, electron microscopy, and tissue culture techniques. He is a member of several Egyptian scientific societies and has contributed to scholarly research, with an ORCID record (0000-0002-8799-994X).
