Study in Egypt Process
For non-Egyptian undergraduate students willing to study in Egypt, please visit the Study in Egypt website.
Please note that the required documents to be uploaded on the website are as follows:
- Copy of the student’s latest academic certificate
- A copy of a valid passport or refugee card
- Seven personal photos
- Copy of student’s birth certificate.
To apply, please follow these steps:
- Create an account on the website.
- Pay the application fees
- Fill in the required information
- After receiving an activation message on your email, log in to create your password
- Click on Higher Education service
- Fill in the required information
- Fill in the certificate data and grades as instructed
- Choose Memphis University
- Upload documents
- Choose payment method
- Upload the bank deposit receipt, provided that the receipt is under the student’s name
- A preliminary acceptance letter will be sent within a maximum of 5 working days after technically reviewing your application.
- Students are automatically matched with their choice based on the availability of places.
- The student will receive a primary nomination in Memphis University
- Pay the required fees. This includes service, degree updates, club, and registration fees. Please note that this nomination will be canceled if payment is not made within 14 days.
- After payment, the student should submit his/her file to Memphis University
- The university will confirm the submission
- After the university receives the student file, the student will get a confirmation message on the study in Egypt website.
Original documents are submitted after acceptance with the presence of the legal guardian.

Application Process

- Verify your email address to receive a username and password
- Carefully read the attestation and approve it.
- Pay the application fee of LE 1500.
- Upload the certificate and ID. The upload is optional, and the certificate could be submitted or sent directly to the admission office after payment of the application fees.
- Memphis student ID number will be forwarded to you via email. Make sure to mention this number in all your communication with the admissions staff.
- Set a date for the interview (the admission office will call the applicant to arrange for the interview and when successful the applicant will receive the acceptance letter and claim for the 1st instalment).
- The application will be reviewed to confirm the details.
- Taking a final decision regarding the application (acceptance/ Rejection) and sending it to the registered email.
