Memphis University Medical School Hosts Interactive Seminar on the Impact of Social Media on Students
The School of Medicine at Memphis University Egypt organized a distinguished interactive seminar featuring Dr. Mohab Megahed, Consultant Psychiatrist and Member of the Egyptian Senate, as part of the university’s commitment to supporting students’ psychological and social awareness and enhancing their ability to positively navigate contemporary challenges, particularly the impact of social media.
The seminar witnessed strong attendance from medical students, who actively engaged with the topics presented by Dr. Mohab Megahed. The discussion focused on the psychological and behavioral effects of social media on young people and students, and how excessive or unbalanced use can influence concentration, time management, mental health, and social relationships.
Dr. Mohab Megahed also shared a number of valuable tips and practical guidelines to help students maintain a healthy balance between the digital world and daily life.
